161 Days Later...
This is not a horror film, but it probably could be. The world has changed; in fact, we all have.
It has been 161 days since I travelled to a different
country. This is not normal, but nothing really is these days.
No matter where in the world you are, we have all
experienced “lock down” and “wearing a mask.” Iain and I are part of the lucky ones as we still
have jobs and can work from home relatively easily, although work and life seem
to have obscured into one.
Thankfully, the world is starting to open up and there are now
travel corridors which allow people from certain countries to travel to others;
this means you don’t have to quarantine, or self-isolate, on arrival in your outbound or inbound
destination. These corridors are constantly under review given the changing
situation around the world, so this is why we decided on our next destination.
